Carolina Herrera FW15.

It’s impossible for me to be unbiased about the Carolina Herrera FW15 collection, since I’ve been shooting for the brand frequently over the past several months. During that time I’ve built some nice professional relationships with the people in that office (and to a distant, limited extent, Mrs Herrera herself). This may seem silly, but the sort of legacy equity that exists within the walls of Carolina Herrera are such that I often find myself in awe of what it means to women—and somehow this supersedes the way I look at the clothes, which is different from say, a smaller brand that I may shoot for. I suppose top-flight photographers don’t even flinch, but otherwise I would think that this is simply a natural reflexive. From documenting Mrs Herrera with her daughters to hanging out with my film camera while Karlie Kloss was being fitted for the dresses she walked in the FW15 show, it’s a more than fair tradeoff for being granted the opportunity to participate in so many behind the scenes, intimate moments. I shoot a lot of collections, and I never post collections I don’t like, and they’ve never asked me to post anything I’ve shot for them, so there’s that in all fairness. I’m happy to be here. Thrilled, more like it.
Anyway, that’s the end of my introduction, which is probably more like a prologue tangent, but you get the point. Check out the Carolina Herrera FW15 collection, and if you must know, my favourite looks are in the one red worn by Mina Cvetkovic and the all black dress near the bottom, worn by Herieth Paul.
Enjoy.
