Grand Street, New York.
I have to admit, he was really rocking my colour the right way. Thing about orange is it’s a great shade that only works as a primary in very specific situations (like say, the Dutch National Team). Often on the street–well, maybe not often–but when I see it, it’s usually done all wrong. Orange is like one of those things that screams, “I’M RIGHT HERE, DON’T SHOOT ME” if you catch my drift. I really fell in love with it about 10 or 12 years ago when I’d see it pop up on high level items in the stitching. I know it sounds weird, but that’s really when I started understanding 1) the little things that separated high-value craftsmanship, and 2) that orange was best served in accent-type doses.
