I grew up in Seattle. Everything seemed like a huge deal at the time, but looking back on it it was a pretty simple life.
During my last two years of high school, I changed a lot. I got a car and stopped caring at all what anyone thought of me.
I was definitely a trouble maker.
I was bored out of my mind I guess.
My friends and I partied a lot. We would go to bonfires on the beach, and everything would smell like campfire.
It would be warm.
The sun would set over the ocean.
Rap music blasting from the parking lot…
Drunk kids everywhere.
We’d go swimming and skinny dipping at the lake almost every night, and everyone would come to one huge party in the park until the cops came.
It’s impossible to choose my all time favorite summer memory.
There are so many.
