Set in what felt like a dusty armory hangar, once the fog cleared she emerged, a beautifully crafted and sleek creature, wrapped in the shade of military fatigues, her parachute draped around her and doubling as a dress. So grandiose was this signature piece that instead of turning to exit as models always do, she keep venturing forward, straight past the pit of photographers and into the darkness. It was the perfect way to set the mood for the remainder of the collection, which was a mix of spontaneous elegance (hold that thought) and vixen-type presence. It could be said that these pieces are a little bit of everything for the woman who spends her days in meetings surround by men who covet her and evenings intimidating men at the end of bar with her best gal pals. But the hue palate suggests a very explicit intention of willpower for the woman who wears it; between the colours and the stenciled lettering on the jumpsuits, there is no passivity here. The fierceness of this collection is indeed intriguing, if only intended for the type who has no problem going after what she wants.
